      Description

If you do a reset on Safari, it will check, by default, a box under advanced preferences which says "Stop plug-ins to save power". Embedded Avalon media won't play, or at least not often, with this checked. See bottom video on this page:

      https://resources.oncourse.iu.edu/access/content/user/mnotess/Test%20youtube%20embed%20mixed%20content

The top video, from Youtube, plays fine. Right-clicking on the two videos shows that the Avalon video isn't thinking it is in flash, but the youtube one is.

If you then go in and uncheck that setting, reload the page, and click the Avalon video, it plays, even though it doesn't initially show itself to be flash, it figures out how to switch.

This bug affects the Omeka plugin and hence the new WWII video site.
